Cait sat at a large desk, many books laying open in front of her. A note book sat to the side of one, the writing in it clear and well organized. Her notes had to be that way. How else would she be able to properly look back on them? There was a test in a few days, the inner workings of a brain advanced in telekinesis and how to break through it. The books Cait was looking through all had to do with mental endurance and "pressure points" one could hit while pushing another's mind. The subject seemed simple to her but considered it an essential part of her education. She wanted her powers to work for the better and if this was going to get her there than so be it.
With a sigh Cait leaned back in her chair. It was wooden and stiff and she looked at one of the more plush, cushioned selections. But she wasn't moving now. She was very close to finishing. She jotted down a few more sentences and closed the book. She skimmed the notebook one last time to see what she had gotten down. Ten pages worth, not bad, Cait thought. For today, anyway.

Dustin was in the library as well. He was walking through the aisles picking up books. He had two large stacks, one stack containing info on Fausts, Demons, and other biblical references to hell, the other stack containing books on chemistry and mechanics and a few on bats. He sat down at a table, opening them all at once. He looked from page to page to page, without a second concerning thought. He had sat down right across from where the girl was. His eyes seemed to only be half open and he just sat there, in grim silence.

Cait watched as a boy, looking rather...depressed, decided he could just sit down in her work space with his things. Her eyes narrowed a bit at him but she resisted the urge to say something. He didn't look like his day was going all that well and by the amount of books he had she suspected it might have to do with some sort of test. "What are all those for?" Cait asked him, indicating his books with a wave of her hand. "I'd imagine there'd be quite alot of info in them." But he didn't look very interested in them. Strange. she thought as she looked at him.

Dustin pushed his glasses up on his nose. He couldn't read without them. He then opened his mouth, seemingly making no noise, in reality he was gaining a sonar chart of her a just in case precaution. He then closed his eyes, closing a book entitled 'Faust'. He Then placed it ontop of the other books. He then pointed to the half of the books on mechanics, and chemistry. "Study for school..." He grunted. He then pointed to the books on Fausts, Religion, and bats. "Study on self..." He grunted against, his eyes glancing from page to page, seeming to take it all in.

Must have something to do with his powers. Cait thought with a role of her eyes. She decided to take another look at one of her own books. Ocassionaly she would glance at him, finding his presence somewhat bothersome. She wondered what his power was but didn't want to ask. After a brief moment of debating the thought, Cait decided to see what she could get out of his mind. She gently pushed with her gift but didn't look at him, so as not to give her away. Not that he would even notice. He didn't even seem to be giving his books tha much thought.

Dustin just sat there reading. If she had tried to read his mind, or dwelve into it, she would have been stopped by the horrifying image of Beelze, the demon whose soul is connected with his. The demon would then press his voice into her mind, turning her own power unto her. Enter here at one's own risk, thy images of horror and pure hatred await thine eyes. Fear not what thine see, but fear what thine could see the steel slingshot at one's head and blood out over the ground The demon waisted no time in threats. Dustin then looked up from his books. "Leave my mind alone... less you fall prey Beelze..." He then looked back to his books. Beelze had warned him.

Cait blinked as the voice spoke. It wasn't his, she could tell. "Beelze." Cait said. She stood and gathered up her books. "I'll try to keep that in mind." she said in a sarcastic tone. Cait placed two of her books on the shelf by the desk where they had come from. "How depressing." she muttered to herself.

Dustin said not a word, but instead just looked on at his books. He picked one up, looking at an illustration of a bat-like demon, written under were the words 'Beelze; the Demon of Rage, Vengeance, and Hatred'. "Hmmm... Ah the irony.. I see now.. blind rage.. that explains it all." He pulled off his glasses and stared blindly infront of him, having no idea what he was staring at anyway.

Cait turned back to him. "What is your power, anyway?" she asked quickly. She had refrained from going into it before, she just felt so testy from his response, or rather, 'Beelzes' reaction. So, did he have a split personality? They had medication for that. There was no reason his power should be acting that way.

Dustin looked up, pulling his glasses down. "I can listen... I can hear better than I can see.. I can make out anything by my hearing and then I just pick up one of my guns and shoot what I hear... I rarely miss a target..." He then pushed his glasses back up on his nose. "Also I can transform into Beelze... if need be." He pulled his hair back, revealing a symbol seemingly scorched on his forehead. It was a pentagram. He then turned the page in his book and there was the same symbol with the words 'The Seal of Beelze; This Pentagram is used to anchor the demon Beelze to this world. If that Pentagram is ever destroyed, Beelze cannot enter this realm of existance.'

"That clears some things up." Cait said. The mark on his forehead was not unusual, but Cait wondered if he had been born with it or added it at a later date. "Interesting, though. Sound makes a sort of 'picture' for you?" she wanted to know everything there was about anyone's powers. The textbook examples were not all there was and they did not go into much detail. "And what is Beelze, anyway?" she asked.

Dustin flipped through the pages of his book. "Beelze is a demon... one who has a great power... one who can ressurect those who have entered his level of hell..." He lowered his head and began to look over the books. He picked up a book on engineering, explaining the mechanics of Sonar. "And my hearing... well that's really a secret.. you see if anyone knew the limitations of my power it could be used against me..." He looked back down at his books. "Besides.. it makes up for what my little brother did to me... somethings.. hell cannot undo..."
